NHS Practise – Consultant Rheumatologist Mid-Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation trust since 2008. Dr Kiran Putchakayala is an experienced consultant rheumatologist who trained in rheumatology in Manchester and was appointed Consultant Rheumatologist at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in 2008. He runs early inflammatory arthritis clinics, Osteoporosis clinics, specialist combined clinics with Orthopaedic colleagues (hand/ foot and ankle) and a combined high risk obstetric clinic, musculoskeletal ultrasound clinic in addition to general rheumatology clinics. He developed Osteoporosis assessment and treatment pathways for Mid Cheshire Hospitals. Dr Kiran Putchakayala has a keen interest in training and medicines management. He sees patients with inflammatory arthritis, autoimmune disorders, musculoskeletal problems, Osteoporosis and a wide variety of rheumatological problems. In his spare time he loves to travel, play badminton, follow cricket and spend time with his wife, son and daughter.
